Working with Engage was instrumental in putting together a structure for approaching the college selection and preparation process. In Ishani’s case, this was all the more important given her slightly unusual choice of majors / interest areas. We went through multiple iterations to narrow down the list of colleges (only US colleges) and the approach for each one of them, and the overall experience was well worth it. They were also very involved in building up the application materials, helping us to focus and pace the activities. We had very interesting debates wrt the personal essays, which not only helped bring additional perspectives to the fore, but ultimately helped Ishani fashion a well-presented and ‘engaging’ profile. Another noteworthy aspect was their willingness to get onto calls at short notice (there were many!) to discuss a specific point, sometimes as counselors and many a time as a friend. We are very happy to have worked with them and would warmly recommend with one caveat – be prepared to go through the grind !
